Oh, don't worry about that. Most of my meetings lately have been less than ideal, you kind of get used to it, you know? [ The cheerfulness in her voice never left and she kept a small smile on her face as she responded. It wasn't untrue, lately everyone she'd met had been under really terrible circumstances but she'd known something about that. Not knowing anything at all was actually a pretty new thing and it was actually weirdly...scary. Maybe that's why she was forcing herself to smile so much. It was better than acknowledging that she was pretty freaked out by the entire situation.
