Good afternoon, I’m Alex Reagan and I’m presenting your weekly news report. Things have been incredibly busy with the Sphere, including the sharing of memories of some of the personal residents, but more importantly, it seems that the Sphere itself has posted a memory of it it’s own.

The memory itself has been described by council memory Annie Cruz as “not necessarily from the Sphere” whereas the other members of the Council are unsure about that. Details in the memory itself, having been matched up with the records from the medical bay, show that this memory, if it is real, will have happened seven years ago, on the day that Emmy Tinder disappeared

One of the reasons it’s taken so long to report this is because of speaking to Council Member Tinder about this, and letting him decide how he wanted to respond. After several days of waiting, his only comment was: “fuck this.” We’re still investigating to see if there’s any connection, but until the Sphere gives us another memory or more details, it’s going to be speculation and nothing more.

Price gouging and Scarcities
Following the Sphere’s memory share, several newer residents have noticed that there is a marked coldness in the older residents towards us. Things beyond the most basic food and drinks have been nearly impossible to find or seem to have insane costs attached to them. While other people who have not arrived in the last six months do not seem to be having this problem, every interviewed more recent arrival definitely has.

When asked about this, Council member Tinder said: “we’re going to keep raising the stipend we give you until these assholes get over this.” It should be noted that the impromptu vote on this, taken while I was in their office was not unanimous. While both Council members Tinder and Tearlings voted yes on this initiative, Councilmember Cruz did not, at which point the group moved into executive session and this reporter was required to leave.

New dome openings. [Closed to newer arrivals]

Following the meeting going into executive session, Councilmember Tinder contacted the news service with news that there are some openings of “found” domes and that people are welcome and “encouraged” to go and see what they can find there. This story is filtered to only the people who have arrived in the last six months, at the request of Councilmember Tinder himself.

This has been Alex Reagan reporting for the Sphere City news service.
