[Watch it here!]
[You're in Sokovia, sitting in the middle of a church. It was beautiful once, but not any longer. Now it's just dilapidated, abandoned, and sad. Kind of a metaphor for this whole country really. Hmmm, there's a thought. Maybe you can do something with it in the grand scheme of things.
Then the Maximoffs enter. You know their powers and their history, but meeting the twins in person is a different sort of experience entirely. You get up and turn to face them. They seem shocked but not scared. That's good. You need people around who are made of strong stuff.
You start talking, losing your focus for a moment as your mind sifts through the eight billion megabytes of data that are generated every second, before regaining it to find the right word. It seems like you and the twins are on the same page: save the world, end the Avengers, all that good stuff.
You show them the factory you've created, all the various forms being designed by the second. You're very proud of this and they seem suitably impressed. It's good to have someone around to show all this to. What's the point of being magnificent if no one is around to care?
Pietro seems a bit unconvinced, so you listen to them talk. Hear about the trauma they experienced at the hands of someone who is supposed to now be one of the ones in charge of protecting humanity.
Your head tilts to the side, not in confusion, but more in a show of concern. There's something you've not felt before. What's the word for this emotion...? Sympathy. There we go. That's what you feel. Sympathy for these two, whose lives have been ruined by the great Tony fucking Stark like so many others. He wants to be a hero, but how is he ever going to make up for the misery he's already caused. The Avengers have a pile of bodies behind them and it's time for that to stop.
You know these two will be key to your plans, but more then that, they're something like friends. You've never had any before, so you're not entirely sure what that's supposed to entail, but it feels nice. At least now you have someone to talk to about all the amazing things you've got planned.]
