Max, the head of the Council here... and yes I know how completely weird it is that he became the head of the Council, he lost his daughter here. She was sent home without him. So, in retaliation, he built a nuclear warhead and detonated it directly against the glass that encases the Sphere itself. Afterwards, there wasn't a scratch on it. Not even a smudge apparently. And all of the radiation had been absorbed by something so it didn't even effect the inhabitants of this place.
