As a child, I was exiled. Most of my kind would kill themselves rather than be forced to live among the tir. Their lives are short, and they're so violent; you can lose those you love in the blink of an eye. Many times I wanted Ilior to take me, but I found purpose in a man who treated me as a son. He was everything to me, and I would do anything for him. I did do anything for him. Then I killed him. He was one of the people I loved the most, one I would die or kill for, and the fact of it haunts me.
