Accidental Video - UN: DetWatts & UN: Maresh
(ooc: Both Rhy and Llewellyn will probably respond, add a filter to the tag title if you want one of them specifically instead of both! :D)
[The thing about Llewellyn was the fact that he had a habit of fidgeting and fussing. Specifically with his face, rubbing his cheek or behind his ear. Under normal circumstances this wouldn’t be a problem, but having a device that controlled your connection to a communication network implanted behind your ear made it a problem.
The fact that this hadn’t happened before was honestly a rather large stroke of luck, but that luck had inevitably run out.
The feed opens and there’s the sound of clinking plates as Llewellyn was dishing up some dinner, food he’d picked up at the market to share with his fiancé. He looks entirely relaxed for once, no hunched shoulders or furrowed brow. Just a genuine smile as he chatted softly with the man sitting across the table from him. Pretzel could be heard wandering under the table of the dome the three of them had just moved into, little claws clicking as he hoped for some attention and table scraps.]
What are they like where you’re from? [A pause as he realized he might need to specify, his penchant for just saying things without prior reference.] Mm... Weddings, I mean. Are there any special traditions that you would like?
I’m rather fond of the tradition of cake from my world, the whole uh— reception with dinner and dancing is nice.
[Never mind the fact that Llewellyn didn’t know how to dance, and would address that anxiety at a later date.]
Oh my love.
[Rhy's voice has an amused edge to it, and he quite enjoys all of this planning they're starting with.]
Truth be told, I do not know the common traditions of Arnes. I'm a King, my beloved. My wedding at home would be a state affair. Balls leading up to it, parades, large meetings of the court. You'd be wrapped in your family colors until the day we were wedded, whereupon you'd be draped in the red and gold.
[He laughs, still pleased.]
Cake, absolutely. Dancing of course. But mostly, we should have food. Good food. And music.
[If there was one thing he appreciated about Rhy, it was the fact that the man understood the importance of good food as much as he did.]
Then cake and good food will be a must, I do wonder if they can make pretzels fancy...? [That’s said with a distracted tone. What? Pretzels are important!] I would say music certainly is a must too, if there’s going to be dancing...!
And I’m sure I can probably manage to find something nice to wear in the appropriate colours, dear.
[After all, he likes to dress up and Rhy had mentioned wanting to see him in red and gold before... Yes, he liked that idea. Absentmindedly he rubbed behind his ear again with a ridiculously pleased expression, and the feed abruptly cut off.]

Getting married, are we, Rhy?
Voice | UN: Maresh
But indeed, I am. And I expect you are going to take credit.
Voice | UN: DetWatts
[Give him a minute he’s still embarrassed about what happened. The fact that Rhy thought it was cute was sweet though.]
Wait a moment... You two know each other? I thought the fellow who pushed you in the ball pit might have just been a random prankster all this time.

[Llewellyn still can’t believe he accidentally broadcasted all that... Oops. So he responds a little clumsily. Cats out of the bag now, Llewellyn.]
Oh— Rhy, this is Remy. He’s only arrived recently, but he’s a nice fellow.

Oh my god, congratulations you two! I'm so glad for you both!

And maybe you could get Richard to sing for us.

Thank you, Alex! Um— it certainly would be lovely if you were there.
And uh... If Richard wanted to, he does have a nice singing voice.
[What? If Rhy wants it, he’s cool with it.]

[She laughs softly as if this is already in motion.]
But I am happy to hear that you are planning the wedding already. Do you have a date in mind?
video un; detwatts
[He smiled, glancing to Rhy on the subject of her question with a little tilt of his head.]
I’m not really sure? I expect it depends on what goes into planning a wedding and how long it takes to put together?
[Llewellyn certainly doesn’t know. How long is proper? What need be done? Still, he was excited all the same.]

Perhaps there is one that you'd like?

Well, it wasn’t meant to be an announcement, Enis. Not yet, anyway... It was an uh— accident on my part. But I suppose your point stands.

[How did she not know this??]
I don't believe I've ever gone to a wedding that didn't involve- [Wait.] Well, never mind. Consider this an official offer to help in any way I can.
I'm also quite good at courtly dances, Rhy, as you know.
no subject
And yes, I do know you are good at dancing. Please save one for me.
no subject
[He tilted his head rather curiously on the topic of dancing,]
Perhaps you both would be able to tell me more of the dances, though? In my world, the only one I know of concerning weddings is the Wedding Waltz.
no subject
Oh, I meant I could try to whip your fiancee into shape for your first dance. But you always have a spot on my dance card.

Thank you? Mm... If Rhy wishes for there to be balls, I certainly wouldn’t say no? I’ve never been to one before, it could be fun.
no subject
And it would take so much work. Oh Watts, I do not think you would find it at all fun.

I did not mean to spy on you, Rhy. But my congratulations, all the same. I wish you every happiness, you and your intended, though I have yet to meet him. It is not every day a king weds. He should count himself fortunate.
As for traditions, you should do what pleases you both. Weddings and celebrations are the same worlds over. Food, music, dancing, friends to wish you well. Whatever else is important to you. There will be plenty cheering you on here, I think.

[Rhy smiles and his voice is full of fondness.]
I did not come here intending to find love.
