Memory Share; True Loves Kiss
[ooc: the entire video of this scene is here. It is very short if you'd rather watch than read it. Though imagine that the kiss goes longer before fading to black.]
The memory started in a hotel room. It was raining but there was a vague awareness of Edinburgh, Scotland existing just outside of the small sanctuary that the two had made. There was so little time. They could be caught and then she'd be incapacitated and imprisoned but it was worth the risk.
Vision was worth that risk.
"What does it say?" Wanda's voice was soft, matching the late hour in its volume.
The floor of the hotel room was cold but the chill could barely be felt. Something was wrong and a singular focus kept her senses directed towards the man who so carefully held her heart.
"I don't know. It's something..." Vision began to explain but there weren't any words to describe what he felt.
Two hands reached up and gently cupped his cheeks. Thoughts of him filled her mind as she looked into his eyes. Warmth radiated against the cold touch of her palms. He winced at the pain and it sparked a sudden worry that ached within her chest. The Mind Stone had given him life and while it was a part of him, it wasn't all of him. It was more than that. It was complicated. But she was connected to the Mind Stone and that made everything undescribably simple.
His head turned and Vision tenderly kissed Wanda's palm. His hand coming to rest over hers, keeping her close to him. Another kiss and he lifted her hand to his forehead, gently pressing Wanda's palm against the Mind Stone.
His voice was husky and low. "Tell me what you feel."
Wanda pulled her palm back as red mist bridged the gap between them. She felt deep within him: endless but exact, perfect and flawed. She inhaled a sharp breath, her eyes rising to meet his. "I just feel you." Their eyes met and in the silence, a thousand words were spoken.
Slowly, he leaned forward and pressed her lips to his. The kiss was soft at first, tender and warm, but deepened as each precious moment pulled the pair into the future.

[She doesn't know that word Tommy.]

But I'm glad you were happy with him.

I'd never thought this memory would come up. The sphere seems to enjoy sharing more unpleasant memories.
[Wanda pauses and her voice softens.]
I was happy. Even if it didn't last long. I was able to see myself in a new way.

It was hard not to tease him about it.
Re: audio
I mean I probably would have done the same thing so.

[They'd seen his death nearly 6 months ago.] But it's nice to see such a warm memory. I always thought it was unhappy pieces of our past.
Re: audio
All too often it really is. I’m glad that this month at least has one good one.

He is a good man, Wanda.

[Her accent thickens as a soft whisper answers Antonio's call.
There is more to the story than a kiss and while it hurts, Wanda doesn't want to hide it from Antonio. They weren't strangers and as unexplainable as it is, she trusts him with the broken pieces of her heart.]
He was the first to see me as more than a weapon but as a person.

It's one of the reasons we met in secret. [She laughs a bit though there is no erasing the sadness in her voice.] But, in a way, I'm grateful. It was a few short months but I saw myself as he did... as someone to be cherished. It gave me hope when I thought I had none.
Re: audio;
And you should. [He smiles affectionately. He'd been seen as a monster for many years, at times even for his own doing, but he'd learned slowly a monster was not all he was. Wanda was a woman willing to do whatever it took to protect those she loved. It wasn't a trait to be feared, unless you were of a mind to hurt her loved ones.] I'm glad you had him.
