[And here we go with the plotting mentioned here It is definitely not to late at all in this plot to hop in.]
[We're seeing though someone's eyes. Or glasses as it were. She's looking down at desk that's covered in blood. Pulling back, it's clear that the office that she's in is trashed. The filing cabinets have been emptied out, and thrown everywhere, the computer terminals are shattered and sitting in the middle of the desk is a golden flat circle that's connected to a long and thin golden wire. At the end of the wire, there is what is, without a doubt, a piece of brain matter.]
Um. Um. Um.
[John's voice is soft and frantic and if she needed to breathe she would be breathing heavily right now. Instead, the camera shows her transparent hands sliding through the wire as she tries to pick it up, because she's having a very hard time being corporal at the moment.]
Laurie's missing. Her office has been destroyed. I think. I think she's dead, but there's no sign of her coming back in her pod. I don't understand. I... um why would someone do this?

[She also would have replied using the video function but she's very bad at communicating with anything besides audio.]
But maybe I could help?
If they're missing... we can search for them.

Why do you say them?

[She pauses and sounds confused.]
Them as in Laurie.
[She doesn't even realize that she'd used English incorrectly.]
Is that not who's missing?

What do you need to try?

[She feels a little silly for not realizing that Laurie is a girls name. Then again, name's have always been an unexplored territory with her.]
I don't know how to explain it exactly but it's a feeling I have. It started when I was little but it helps me find things... in a way.
[She doesn't know how to explain her magic since she doesn't understand it herself.] But, maybe if I come and see... [her voice trails off and she doesn't seem happy with the prospect.] I might be able to tell where she's gone.
I can't promise anything but I can try.

I know you're terribly worried, but are you safe? Do you need help with anything presently?
