[There's silence for a long moment before she finally speaks. Her voice is quiet but matter-of-fact. She's a princess who shouldn't show emotion in these type of situations; even if her heart is breaking a little at having to do this.]

Well, when I lost my... When I lost Jane, I did find myself in many cups of ale. And, I do know that the mortals seem to like ice cream and sugary sweets very much. I would start there?

Missing me is hardly on any list. I'm simply the woman who metaphorically thrust the trident into his hand.

[She knows that's true. Had there been time to get to know one another properly, he might have missed her, but that wasn't the case. She was simply the woman who would one day become his queen and was, in his own words, 'crazier than he'd thought.']

I don't know what any of those things are, and there is nothing from my world here.

[The Sphere didn't just refuse to accommodate Atlantians, it pretended as if their culture didn't exist.]

[He frowns, suddenly not feeling sure of himself. Which is odd.]

I am not sure of them much myself. We could discover them together.

You seem like a strong woman. I would miss you, my lady.

[Unsure is attractive on him, but she's far from admitting that. Especially with how alone she's feeling without Arthur to moor her to the land.]

I'd like that.

[There's a pause as she thinks about how much she wants to admit. Thor has been a good man, there's no harm in admitting what everyone probably already knows.]

There's too much of this world that I don't know. I'd like to get to know it better - if you'll help me.

[He smiles, a bit wider now that she seems to be smiling as well. It feels good, knowing that he might help to ease her upset and bring a light to her darkness. He wishes he could have been better and stronger back home. There is a brief glimpse of that in his eyes before he masks it away.]

I would like that as well. I too am lacking when it comes to some things. My brother, Loki, is much more knowledgeable. We shall help each other!

[This time it does sound like there's a smile on her face.]

He's your brother?

Ah, you have met him.

[He tries hard to keep his face and voice neutral. He never knows who likes his brother and who his brother has pissed off.]

Yes, he is, in a manner of speaking. He was adopted and we were raised together, but we did not learn of his adoption till many years later.

You must be very proud of him. He's clever and kind.

[Mera thinks much of Loki and isn't afraid to show it.]

Kind?

[Thor pauses, not sure what to say about that. He wonders if his brother has bewitched her.]

My brother is very smart. He can do many things. However, not all of them have been good or kind. He has his moments and, honestly, I think deep down he could be good.

I haven't seen anything bad about him here. He's been a good friend and a strong ally when needed. If it weren't for his magic this sphere might have perished.

Huh. That's... He didn't say.

[Loki did something good, to the point that another person was defending him. This information is shocking to Thor, causing him to feel very confused and conflicted.]

That is... I am honoured to hear he did such good deeds. Perhaps he is atoning for his past. Who can say but Loki himself. I am proud to hear this. He is lucky to have you as a beautiful friend, my lady.

Whatever he's done in the past he's been nothing but a faithful friend. I'm honored to know him.

I wouldn't take his credit; he's gained my trust entirely on his own.
