[He has had time to collect himself; to not give into fear immediately - though that had been a challenge! His appearance is likely startling - unless his shay'kreth'ashke is well known. From his white hair to his icy blue eyes, Moondance will be easily recognized both on the network and off.]

Bright the day, my friends. I do not know what to say of our accommodations, though I count it promising that we are alive. My name is Moondance k'Treva and I am what is known as a Healing-Adept. What that means is: I am able to heal people as well as places.

[The second portion of his power has been taken from him - though he does not realize it yet. His merry, inviting tone is punctuated with a shyer smile.]

Now, tell me where it hurts, hm? I will feel better if I am busy, so think of this as you doing me a favor!

There's no need to fear it. As long as fair and foul exist, they'll keep each other in check.

Well. I suppose I can take half, if you take the other half.

It's a deal, then. The question is, which of us has an unfair advantage?

Very well, you've talked me into it. Drinks are on me.

Then my plan has succeeded!

Just let me know when you'd like to take me up on it.

Settling in here can be a bit overwhelming.

[Alec spent a whole fortnight fixated on a toaster. We don't talk about it.]

Are the technologies here familiar to you?

I've had to do the same. I'm afraid my world is somewhat rudimentary in comparison to this place. If I can help at all, please do let me know.

... They have a machine solely dedicated to toasting bread. Have you ever heard anything more ridiculous?

[Okay, maybe we'll talk about it a little...]

[There's a smile evident in Alec's voice.]

That sounds lovely. Homes in trees...

We have a few different places we call home, but none of them in trees! I wish I could see it.

Heights are troublesome.

Incidentally, being thrown from the tower of a keep? Wouldn't recommend it.

Sadly, yes. But it was better than the alternative, I suppose.

So, I amend my statement. Not recommended, but if your choice is being run through by a guard's sword, or leaping from the tower and trusting your wizard friend to transfigure you into an owl before you hit the ground? The latter is probably the better option.
