i like it more because i get to be someone important and use my powers to do something
and i've done my best to help here too

I guess so but at that point it's just work and responsibility not what makes you someone? Like... someone being a rabbi or an accountant or whatever isn't who they are.

rabbis might actually see that as who they are to some degree
heroes though?

I guess it depends on how you want to define it. I think it just makes it sound like a job and not an identity.

You have to climb up it before the lava and the boulders come crashing down. It adds and extra layer of challenge than a normal wall.

I like not trying to die.

Then you should enjoy the wall! That's the entire point.

No... That's putting yourself in a place where you could die on purpose.

No, that's training so you don't die doing something more dangerous. And it's fun.

Choosing to do that seems really counterproductive to trying to stay alive to me.

Not really. It's training. Where I'm from? People like me, demigods, attract all sorts of monsters. We smell like McDonalds or Burger King. Something yummy.So, if you dont want to die horribly and get eaten, you need to train. Learn the tricks of the trade so to speak.

Yeah, I guess it's different for you then. And something like that wouldn't have helped me with the stuff I had to do anyway. It just seems unnecessary from my point of view.
