[This is actually a rare sight on the network, because Alex normally always does audio posts. But today it's a video. She's in her office and she looks much better than she normally does. There's no signs of her ever having an insomnia problem, and that look of vague huntedness is gone as well. While Alex always has an easy smile, it's not the devil may care grin she's got now.

But it's been a few days, her anger has mostly faded and she's done research because an Alex Reagan is an Alex Reagan in that sense.]

So, I just want to apologize if I seem a bit weird. I mean, I am a bit weird compared to what you're used to. But that's because I'm not her. I'm sorry. I'd still like to meet you, and get to know you and tell your stories!

[Alex's radio ready voice sounds earnest and sincere, because she is! But there is definitely a but coming.]

However, I would appreciate it if people could stop asking me about Strand, because whatever your old Alex might have had with him? I don't. So I don't know if he's okay or not. Ask him. I don't know if old me was his keeper or whatever, but I'm definitely not.

Does that mean... we aren't friends anymore? If you aren't the you I've known?

[She pauses and then nods her head.]

I am Inesa. I'm not sure what stories you'd like to hear.

[ She tilts her head curiously. ]

If you're not the Alex we're familiar with, who are you?

I mean just because we don't know one another now doesn't mean that we can't be friends, you know?

[Alex just gives her a very Alex smile, even if it's an easier one than normal.]

From what I can tell, a different strand from her on the multiple verse. Someone who didn't get dragged into bullshit that she shouldn't have been involved with in the first place.

How interesting. Do you mind if I ask what your version of her life was like?

I um... I work at a shop where I make clothes. I made you a red dress! I don't know if you still have it. [This is so awkward but Inesa is trying so hard.]

When Strand called her back with his black tape and non-apology apology she accepted. I didn’t. So she got mired in all of his bullshit and I didn’t.

I do. I’m planning on wearing it out tonight actually. Thinking of going dancing if you’d like to come.

[Inesa meets Alex wearing a blue dress with a pair of black heeled shoes. It's similar to Alex's in that it's slinky and silky but it has a few more details that her doesn't have. She's spent a great deal of time on the dress and she hopes that everyone will think it'd turned out well.

She waits where planned and smiles when she spots Alex in the distance.]

Alex, over here.

Oh? Who was the next individual you interviewed?

[Alex isn’t wearing her red dress, but she is wearing a black one that she’d gotten from Angel’s shop. She’s wearing more makeup than normal, including a red lip and her hair is pulled back in a twist from her face. She’s got a glass in her hand as she heads over to the other woman. After her eyes roll over her appreciably, Alex just grins.]

Wow! You look great!

Tannis Braun. He and I hit it off loads better than Strand and I and when he was done being my subject we started dating.

What do you mean? There's two of you now?

[It's ambiguous to his tone as to whether this excites Ultron or is dismaying to him.]

I’m afraid not. Just me. I don’t know if she went home or not. If she did I hope she went to her home and not mine because I definitely don’t want to deal with that when I get back.

That just sounds like it would be a nightmare, having to deal with another version of myself if I ever get home.

[Ultron is cognizant enough to realize he's not the easiest person in the world to get along with.]

Well, I'd say pleased to meet you, but if you're as obnoxiously chipper as the other one, we're not going to get along very well.
