[This is actually a rare sight on the network, because Alex normally always does audio posts. But today it's a video. She's in her office and she looks much better than she normally does. There's no signs of her ever having an insomnia problem, and that look of vague huntedness is gone as well. While Alex always has an easy smile, it's not the devil may care grin she's got now.

But it's been a few days, her anger has mostly faded and she's done research because an Alex Reagan is an Alex Reagan in that sense.]

So, I just want to apologize if I seem a bit weird. I mean, I am a bit weird compared to what you're used to. But that's because I'm not her. I'm sorry. I'd still like to meet you, and get to know you and tell your stories!

[Alex's radio ready voice sounds earnest and sincere, because she is! But there is definitely a but coming.]

However, I would appreciate it if people could stop asking me about Strand, because whatever your old Alex might have had with him? I don't. So I don't know if he's okay or not. Ask him. I don't know if old me was his keeper or whatever, but I'm definitely not.

[Alex isn’t wearing her red dress, but she is wearing a black one that she’d gotten from Angel’s shop. She’s wearing more makeup than normal, including a red lip and her hair is pulled back in a twist from her face. She’s got a glass in her hand as she heads over to the other woman. After her eyes roll over her appreciably, Alex just grins.]

Wow! You look great!

Really? Thank you.

[Her mouth curls into a warm smile as Alex approaches. She doesn't notice anything odd but then Inesa has never been particularly good at recognizing things like heavier makeup. She doesn't wear a lot of make up herself though lately she's been trying it out.]

Shall we get going?

Yeah, definitely!

[Is Alex just going to casually push a lock of Inesa's hair behind her cheek? Yes, yes she is. And her hand lingers just a little bit at that. Not too long, probably not more than half of a second, but it does before she just gives a grin to the other woman.]

Sure! Lead the way.

[Her cheek flushes a light rose red as warmth tingles across her skin. She's been touched before but not many of her close acquaintances are very touchy and it surprises her.] Alright. Um...

This way.

[She hesitates and then gently takes Alex's arm. She pauses briefly, giving her friend a look to make sure that this is okay and then leads the way to the club that she knows of. It isn't a place she goes to often but she remembers going there with Seregil.]

[Alex just gives her a warm smile at the blush and she follows the other woman very close behind letting her lead Alex without her even thinking about it. This sounds like a good fun time and that’s what Alex is all about right now considering everything.]

[Inesa glances back at Alex and then makes their way inside. The club is dark with heavy music thumping through the air and reverberating through her organs. The energy makes her skin prickle with excitement and her demeanor noticeably brighten.]

This looks like so much fun! Should we dance?

[She has to speak very loudly and lean in close but it isn't too hard to communicate.]

[Alex just grins and she nods, moving a bit to the music even before Inesa makes the suggestion to do it. She's ready and she offers the other woman a hand before inclining her head towards the dance floor by way of answering. There's been many nights that younger Alex has spent in clubs with Amalia, so she knows not to try and shout over the music that's coursing through their veins.]

[Inesa nods and follows Alex towards the dance floor with a wide smile. This isn't the kind of dancing that she knows but it's easy enough to sway her hips to the beat. The music is electric and it chases away Inesa's uncertainty, filling her with a happy excitement.]
