Memory Share - from Dusk to darkness.

[ooc: CONTENT WARNING: nudity, slavery, implied child abuse, rape, blood, violence and other things along those lines. Dusk is the worst person in her canon.]

It was a beautiful sunset.

The light spread like fire along the horizon before vanishing beneath the earth. It had been weeks since she'd seen the sky. Her chin lifted and she stared up at the darkening veil of night, searching for the light of the stars, but there wasn't time.

Inesa's arm was roughly pulled back while a harsh male voice began to shout. "How dare you unlock this door! She is not to leave this room unless instructed. Do you hear me?" Inesa was lead off the ornate balcony and into a small well furnished room. The balcony doors were locked behind her, the key slipping out of view as the man who had pulled her inside began to thrash the two servant women. Inesa stepped forward, placing a gentle hand on the man's arm, steadying his rage.

"I will not go anywhere." Her voice was soft and timid. "Please, we... we need to get ready. I-" She felt her face flush and her voice stammer uncharacteristically. "I would not want to keep Dusk waiting."

The man paled, straightened his shirt and combed back his dark auburn hair. "I will wait outside." He cast a dirty look at the two servants and then briskly left the room.

The room itself was lovely. There was a large round king sized bed at its center with large windowed doors out to the balcony, displaying a beautiful view of the mountains and lake beyond the mansion. The trim lining the walls was golden with well crafted furniture littered artistically around the room. It looked more like a show room than it did a bed room. The bed was on a slightly raised platform with sheer pale blue curtains draping down from the ceiling.

Silence followed as the two women stepped forward and began to strip away the simple white dress she wore. A bowl of clear water was fetched and Inesa was washed of any dirt before she was once again dressed.

Inesa closed her eyes and focused on the slow steady weight of her breaths. A loud knock on the door made her jump and the two women quickly finished dressing her in a fine white gown. The fabric was soft against her skin, showing off the tattooed flower in front of her shoulder. The fabric around her arms was light and sheer while the fabric around her waist was silky and smooth. The corset was similarly white but threaded and decorated with ornate flowers. Had it been any other moment, Inesa might have considered herself beautiful.

She gently touched the cheek of both women and offered them relief from their bruises and pains. 'Was there nothing that she could do for them?'

Another thump shook the door int its frame but this time Inesa didn't jump. She walked to the door, her head down and her eyes focused on the floor. The man from before grabbed her arm and pulled her roughly down the hall. He was mumbling angrily beneath his breathe but she wasn't able to catch what he was saying.

They reached a pair of large double doors and he released her only to push open the entry way and usher her inside. "Your angel my lord." He bowed as he announced her and it was then that Inesa got a look at the man who had purchased her. He was handsome with an angular jaw and black stumble along his chin. His hair was long and wavy, falling to his shoulders. Unlike the pale touch of her skin, he was tanned with long pointed ears. He was wearing a long robe that showed off the lean muscles of his chest. His eyes were dark brown, cruel and calculating as he looked her up and down.

"Show me your wings." His voice was smooth but there was no kindness in it.

Inesa did nothing. She stood facing him, silently staring at the floor. In a quick flash of moment his fingers were around her throat and she was pinned against the door behind her. "I said." His voice lowered to a dangerous whisper. "Show me." Inesa met his gaze but continued to do nothing.

"Stewart." Dusk spoke firmly and the man who had escorted Inesa to his room straightened. "Bright me our guest."

The man disappeared for a few minutes before arriving back with a crying child. She couldn't have been more than ten.

"Now." Dusk spoke slowly, accenting each word with enjoyment as he watched the expression on Inesa's face change. "You can listen to me or I can send you back to your room. I'll have my way with this girl, kill her and present her body to you. And next time, I will not be so gentle." He paused and let his words sink in. "It is for you to decide."

Tears glimmered in her blue-gray eyes but she didn't let them fall. "Let her go." With those three words, white wings unfurled from Inesa's back. They were dotted with thin streaks of crimson and pressed uselessly against the door.

Dusk smiled and waved away both his Stewart and the crying child. "Good girl. It will be easier when you realize that you are mine now." He pulled a blade from behind his back and pierced one of her outstretched wings, pinging it to the door. Inesa cried out while Dusk's pleasure heightened with her pain. He pushed aside his robe, letting it fall to the floor as Ineas's skirts were gathered around her waist.

He held her wrists tightly with one hand and parted her legs with the other. Pain shot through her entire body.

She tried not to cry out but every attempt to muffle her screams angered him. He wanted to hear her pain and tomorrow, he'd make sure that he'd have her forever.

His beautiful angle with her clipped wings.

Perhaps we could have dinner and find one of those movies that were shown?
