Memory Share - An Angry Maximoff

The land was covered with dirt, blood and sand.

A battlefield raged on all sides. A small army on the ground faced millions of creatures and ships descending on them from the sky. They couldn't possibly win, there weren't enough people. It didn't matter if the charge was lead by Captain America, half of the population had been turned to dust.

Then something incredible happened. Bright orange gateways began to open and you, among many others stepped through them to join the fray. The last 5 years didn't exist but your last moments were clear in your mind; Vision's voice echoing in your head 'I love you'. He was gone. Everything you ever loved was gone and it was all because of Thanos.

Anger welled within your chest and you knew that you would make him pay for what he did. Nothing would stop you or quell the sensation of hate within you.

Your steps quickened into a run as immense power, more than you've ever held before, gathered at your finger tips. Anger fueled you.

You stop when your target finally appeared in front of you. Thanos. The man who had destroyed everything. Your eyes narrow at him but when you spoke, your voice was calm and deadly. "You took everything from me."

Thanos turned towards her and squinted as if unconcerned by this tiny human girl. "I don't know who you are." She was too small and insignificant to pose a threat to him.

"You will." Wanda replied coolly.

Power expelled from your body as the fight began. The battle continued to rage around you but your vision tunneled on Thanos. You were going to kill him, the most powerful being in the universe, and Thanos knew it. Red mist gathered around him as you disarmed him. You would break him bone by bone and watch the fear in his face at the realization that this was his end.

And he was afraid.

Thanos was so afraid that he called to his ships to fire, blasting both Wanda and his own troops to free him of her hold.

Is it wrong that there is a part of me that is so proud that you fought Thanos to the point where he had to have his ships fire on you AND his troops because of fear for his life? Like, FUCK, Mom, you're a BAMF!

[Her brave face falters.]

Sometimes I don't control my anger well.

[He's impressed that he hasn't blown someone else up here.]

I don't think I've seen you angry.

Not really.

Started by Thanos. He destroy half of the universes population. And while we did manage to stop him, he took a lot from us.

[She clears her throat awkwardly.]

Is there anything that I can do?

No. That is- [She smiles.] I will never say no to a drink with you Alex but I have never been good at controlling my anger.

It's something that I am not proud of but it is a part of me, just like my powers. I've accepted that.

Well, god knows you’ve had plenty to be pissed about. So I don’t blame you. And the drink is there if you want it.

This wasn't my worst moment. [She's always had trouble accepting those who've taken those closest to her.] Though I don't know if the people here will continue to feel safe around me.
