memory share: always for the greater good
[ There's a man hovering in front of you. His cape billows around him as explosions rock the ground. You can smell the smoke as a fire rages around you. ]
Somehow it always comes down to you and me, Majestros. What's it going to be? Kiss and make up? Or kill or be killed?
[ There's a strange level of amusement in your ton as you ready your sword for what you know is coming. A little girl that can't be older than seven peeks her head behind Majestros and then he rushes forward. ]
You have to ask after all the things you've done? [ The man shouts, his eyes glowing red as he rushes at you. ]
Uptight as ever, huh? [ You smirk and crouch down, slashing up with your sword just as he connects with you. Blood pours out of the wound on the man's chest and he crashes down onto the concrete leaving a crater around his unconscious body. A young woman with glasses and blond hair gasps and stutters out:]
She...cut him... she cut Majestic! [ A man wearing a red bandanna and a stunned expression stares at you and demands: ]
What the hell kind of sword is that? [ By now you've grabbed the little girl. You have her in your grasps with the sword held to her neck. She's screaming and the terror you feel from your empathic abilities almost causes you to break your grip on her. You can't let her go though, you know that. So, you fight past the feeling and press the sword closer to her. ]
It's never the sword, Mr. Cash, it's who's holding it. Y'know it's been just like old times. Normally I'd be happy to kick the crap out of you for another few hours, but I've got more important things to do. Lay down your arms and back off...or the girl dies.
[ Guilt wells up inside of you as tears fall down the little girls face but you don't let go. You can't back down. Not now. ]
