Hello. For those who do not know me, my name is Wanda Maximoff.

[Her voice is direct and informative.]

I am reaching out today to inform those living within the domes that Loki and Charis have both left. In the way of their absence, I have taken over the care for Bjart. For those who do not know her, she is a dragon and has a recent history of escaping her home. She is being trained and I am looking after her now but I thought it best to inform those living here.

If you stumble across her, please do not interrupt the magic that keeps her constricted to the abandoned dome. I would like people to visit and help her train. She needs to get used to others, besides myself, and I think introducing people to her one on one would help. This is only when I am there to keep her and you safe.

[They were both gone? That was... Well in a way he knows he should be happy for them to get to return to their lives but... Well he had taken a liking to Charis and their conversations were always interesting.

And poor Bjart. Both her caregivers gone.

He had wondered why he hadn’t heard from them about helping to socialize the dragon though, and now he knows why. Well... He was going to offer Wanda the same thing.]

It’s good of you to take over caring for her in their absence. I uh— I had originally offered to meet her and help with socializing. I would still like to help if I can.

You assume that someone had a choice in the matter. This is her home. She has more of a right to be here than we do.

I guess I'm still trying to wrap my head around a dragon existing and the fact that one would be in an enclosed limited space like this.

Mm... I was leaving the specifics up to Charis, as I didn’t even know dragons could exist before. So my knowledge is limited... and I expect largely fictitious.

[Still, he doesn’t want to leave Wanda with having to figure that out on top of everything else. She’d probably have her hands full with this.]

Perhaps I could visit her, see if she does’t mind my presence first and then build from there?

[Wanda is standing outside of the library as promised. She's wearing a light gray dress with her usual maroon leather jacket pulled over her shoulders. Her legs are bear but she's wearing a sturdy pair of dark leather boots. Her long red hair is tied up into a pony tail and there is a small backpack slung over her left shoulder.

She's leaning against the side of the front door and only steps forward when she see's Kell coming towards her. Wanda doesn't know Rhy's brother very well though they've spoken about him a few times.

At the very least, he's interesting.]

[It’s true, he knows very little about her abilities but she had been kind enough in the few conversations that they’d had. He’d trust her to know what best to do.]

I wouldn’t want anything to happen that would stress or put Bjart in another bad situation. I expect she had enough from her last adventure.

I see. Does she seem to understand language as a sentient being?

[Because to his knowledge, dragons were sentient and intelligent species, even if they are all but extinct.]

She understands intent but not language. I am teaching her.

[Wanda pauses thoughtfully.]

You should meet her but approach cautiously. I don't know if she'll react differently to you. I wouldn't want her to dislike you because we weren't careful.

It will be fine. We'll approach slowly.

I'd like to get her used to people but it will take time after her last adventure.

Time and caution are definitely the smarter way to go about it after that, I think... Charis was worried how people might act, people have a bad habit of judging others they don’t fully understand harshly.

[He’s going to blunder on though, because talking about her in the past tense just feels odd and uncomfortable.]

I almost wonder if I should bring a treat of some sort for her? It mm... helped my pup when he was getting used to people... Though a dragon is quite unlike a dog, perhaps?
