[The face that graces the screen is of a man with long, angular features, deep gray eyes, long, curling black hair, and a smile so brilliantly white, it's near perfect.
That's obvious because he's smiling charmingly when the feed begins.]
Hey there, new neighbors.
[He leans back on the sofa in the dome from which he's broadcasting, a set of red-lensed sunglasses clipped in the front of his dress shirt, which is white and unbuttoned enough to make it very clear his pale and well-muscled chest is not dusted with hair.]
I know I could go back through this thing and find out a lot, but where's the fun in that? Give me your local flavor. Tell you what, we'll start out easy: what's there to do around the world's most exotic and exclusive underwater resort?

Clubs or the library or gardens? They have movie nights at the park.

[Thomas has found playing the airhead gets him the most information. If people think he's pretty and brainless, they tend not to hold back information around him.]
I mean, obviously the beach is out. But hey, movie nights are cool. What kind of movies?
un; Wanda
There is a beach actually.

Voice: UN - Maresh
Nonetheless, I am here to offer you all the assistance that I may provide to help you in adjusting to life here, for however long you may be a resident.
[Still, he's got answers, and he takes the questions seriously.]
Well, first, the markets are filled with all wonderful sorts of food, which aren't always what you're used to. If you haven't had pretzels before, you should. Oh, and every month or so there are lovely festivals and other entertainments. We've a very talented seamstress as well, who can make custom clothes.
Re: Voice: UN - Maresh
Thomas, and it's nice to know somebody's working on the problem. Kind of seems weird it's taken so long.
[See, he could be friendly, too. He even has a friendly smile to go along with it.]
Wait. You've never had pretzels before? Are we talking about the big stuffed ones?
no subject
[Wait, his eyes go HUGE.]
STUFFED Pretzels? What are those like!?

Audio - UN: detwatts
[He’s wracking his brain a bit. Llewellyn likes to be helpful, but he hasn’t been getting out of the office much lately.]
I think I remember hearing something about a new tavern opening, and the market dome has excellent food selections if you want to grab something to eat with someone.

So, how's a library in another world work, exactly? What kind of stuff's there?
[And people usually use the term 'tavern' to refer to a very specific sort of thing. There's one in Chicago that very few 'normal' people actually know about.]
That all sounds good, I guess. If we're going to be trapped down here with an A.I. overlord, we might as well have a good time doing it, right?
no subject
Well functionally it’s the same as any library? The uh— ‘stuff’ you can find is where it gets more interesting. It seems to contain as many books as there are across the various worlds we’ve all come here from. It’s incredibly vast in its selection... I even found a novel written by my friend there a short while back.
[He had to smile a little wryly at that, that was probably the best way to look at it.]
Mm... You’ll find that is essentially the best way to look at it. When the place isn’t being rude or upsetting, you might find it’s actually quite pleasant in various ways.

You'd have to be more specific, my friend. What sort of pleasures do you partake of?
Voice;
No, no. See, I'm a tourist. I want the local spice. What's hot?

Fire.
