There is indeed no king. In fact, there being one would likely be a very foolish thing indeed. As for the council I was elected to it. It was a very intriguing process. But I work with them for some degree of management of the society of the dome. We plan events, welcome new arrivals, and theoretically will work together should emergencies arise. Truthfully I threw my hat, so to speak, into the ring due to the fact that as I was raised to lead, I had a touch more experience with crisis management than others might. And I have been known to throw lovely parties. I consider this more of a learning experience than anything. And my family has often held that royals are servants of the people.
