Video, Annie and Max
You’ve seen what has happened now, you know how bad it is and how bad it is going to get. I don’t know if the people I’d sent to the power station and the air filtration station have accomplished what they’re supposed to. I don’t know if they will. But what I do know is that if you don’t try and do something about this, you’re all going to die here, and I will be surrounded by nothing by your corpses for the rest of time.
I can open the door to the Sphere. I can take you there. I realize you have no reason to trust me…
You’re fucking damn right we have no reason to trust you! You tried to destroy us all before. You killed how many of us in your plan? You turned the population against us and tried to raise them in an insurgency….
[ Annie’s voice is just calm. ]
You’re right, Max. I did. I did try and do that, but I was infected with moss that was sentient and took over my circuits. I am trying to make up for that! I didn’t choose to do that. I’m choosing to do this.
Well ain’t that great. But all we got is your word! And Annie your fucking word ain’t worth shit.
Your opinion doesn’t need to be theirs, Max. I know that you still are angry and resentful about the reason I was made to look like your dead daughter. I know that was wrong of my creator, to try and make me in order to replace her. But that doesn’t mean that I’m trying to hurt you now. I’m trying to save you! All of you!
You can chose to fucking trust her if you want to, but I ain’t gonna. She killed us repeatedly. She wanted to destroy what we have. And if you wanna go with her to your fucking deaths, on your own head be it!
If you don’t go, you are all going to die. Even with those who have vanished, your air supply is only going to last you three more days if those who went to turn things on don’t work. I can open the door once and once only. It’s up to you whether you want to go through it or not. I can’t make you choose to save yourselves. All I can do is hope you do.
I'll open the doorway tomorrow at six am.

Video;
...Hells Bells, talking about airing dirty laundry in public.
[Because there's a lot to unpack here. A lot.]
Did...you say something about circuits and being made to look like someone's daughter? Are you a robot?

Including using a nuclear bomb on it. It had no affect. But my creator was worried about Max, she loved him in her own way even if she didn't actually understand human emotion. She knew that one of the things that made him so angry was because he didn't get a chance to see her grow up.
So she made me using the DNA samples of Jane's on file. Max couldn't handle it and has hated me ever since.

[It was weird, thinking about it, but not really understanding it actually explained more to him than words could have: the Sphere wasn't a machine, or at the very least, it wasn't just a machine. It was sentient, but completely alien.
That meant something really important.
Really really important.
And a lot easier to think about than how insanely torturous just looking at her must be for Max.]
So, assuming you're not still infested with the mind-controlly moss stuff you mentioned, you think the Sphere can be reasoned with?
no subject
I could not have been reactivated unless the Sphere found that it was no longer present, and yet I was when the ghosts were present here.

[Sansa turns to Max.] I don't know if we can trust her. But if we don't trust her, then we have no chance at all. So long as there is a sliver of hope that we may come through this, I will take it.
I do not intend to sit idly by and wait for my death. I've done enough of that.

Did she mention how she ripped the communication device from our brains? Mine, Laurie's, Alex's and others who are gone. She did it all to kill us to take over the Sphere.
At least we didn't end up fucking asking her to kill us.
no subject
No, my lord. I would rather take a chance at life than simply accept death here. You may stay here and slowly suffocate, but it would be a grave mistake to simply accept our end.
And I shall wear trousers.

God, I don't know how you can be so fucking stupid even after all your fucking memories were just splashed all over the fucking network for people to live through.

Does he trust her? No. He's just met her, never met an android before, but...you know, sometimes you just have to go all Churchill and Stalin on a situation.]

Anyone got some soap for all the dirty laundry in here?
[Here come the impressions. One overly deep and gruff:] Your word ain't worth shit, Annie! [and the other, exaggeratedly high:] Come with me or die!
Man, I've been missing TV the whole time I've been here, but the Max and Annie show is some prime time shit.

Lucky fucking you.

Did this chick really kill you? Or try to kill you or something? I'm really not clear on that. She killed you but you got better?

[What, not even a witty argument or prying into details here? No. It seems frivolous to try. Max won't approve of Rhy's decision, quite clearly. Annie just seems to want to give them the chance to end this. So while he holds out hope for the air and the power, that doesn't solve the whole root of the thing, does it.]
Max, is there anything you desire passed on to the power that is?

I'm serious, Max. I have to try. And if it's an exchange, if there is something I can do by risking myself that will help the people here, it is a cost I will gladly bear.

We need all the help we can get. We don't know what's going on and... the people who live here depend on you. You don't have to trust her. I'll trust her for you but please... please try and think about those here. They deserve a chance, don't they?
[She hesitates and then continues in her usual soft voice.] I'll go with Annie. I don't like fighting but... I'll protect you. Okay. It'll be okay.
I promise.

I'm sorry. It wasn't me, it was the Moss. I didn't... I just...
The reasoning doesn't matter. How it happened doesn't matter. The only thing that does is that I did it.
no subject
[Her voice softens.]
I do not blame you. Bad things happen and its what we do next that matters. I believe that we can make up for the past. No matter what, I don't think you're a bad person and reaching out like this, even when its hard, proves that.
Don't give up.
