[There's no message, just this,followed by laughter. The laughter doesn't sound right. It's like nails on chalkboard and static all at once.]

[Jutting her chin out and standing just out of reach of the demon, Alex crosses her arms over her chest, staring it down. When she speaks, it's in her huffy reporter voice.]

[Another push.]

No! You're insane if you think I'm leaving you down here with that thing!

[Alex knows that it's Richard pushing, and she knows that whatever he's doing isn't physical, and that's something that they're going to have a talk about later, but for now, she just pushes back against the wall, using it to hold onto so he can't shove her away.]

[Alex moves through the distance between them until she’s closer than she was before the push.]

[and then Alex draws back to slap him good and hard.]

[The voice that follows the slap is clearly Richards, as is the wince of pain.

Then the cackling of the demon is back as he shoves her back hard.]

[Alex’s eyes just go wide when it’s Richard voice, and she isn’t paying attention when the demon shoves her and she falls backwards.]

You’re not real. You’re just the Sphere magnifying my nightmares.

You can't be sure of that. Please, slap him again.

[Richard's grin is impossibly wide.]

What the hell do you get out of this?! Really? It’s not going to get the door open. If there even is a Geneva here it isn’t ours. And you said it yourself Thomas warren isn’t here.
