[ Every word she speaks is practically dripping with sarcasm and she's got an equally sardonic smile to match. ] Just wanted to see how everyone was doing in our beautiful underwater prison today. [ Because that is exactly what it is. A prison. Nobody was going to convince her otherwise without some damn impressive skills. For a moment she looks like that might be all she actually has to say. Then she leans back and folds her arms over her chest. ]

Actually, I've got a question. I've been looking through these archives and looks like some of you have been here a long time. I get it, it's got some nice amenities. Love the view. But I gotta ask, how'd you all just collectively give up on trying to find a way out? [ And with that question she does, rather abruptly, end things there. ]

Someone mentioned nightmares coming to life. How does that work? Has anyone ever been really hurt by them?

[Alex lets out a deep and slow breath, this is still something of a sore subject for her, not sore exactly, but rough.]

It's true. My working theory is that the Sphere picks the nightmares from us, subconsciously somehow. It happened to me during the last one. None of them are fun of course, but they have varying levels of severity and danger. For example, there was one where we all turned into kids but still were adults in our minds. And there was the one that made everyone feel a crushing sense of aloneness.

But the demons could hurt people. They could possess people and then the people who were possessed could hurt others.

If you're in a dome and you feel a nightmare coming on? If something feels weird to you? Then get the hell out of there as fast as you can. It's what I normally do anyway.

[Unless someone she cares about is in trouble. And you know tries to strangle her. Then she sticks around.]

Yeah, I mean sometimes multiple domes are affected at the same time, but none of them are always affected. So far. And being kids with adult minds sucks but I wouldn't call it nightmare material. But then again, it wasn't mine.
