Good Afternoon all. My name is Rhy Maresh. And I'm starting to wonder just what is going on in this place. If I might be quite honest, I do not remember being here before this. Yes, I've been told what happened, yet I do not know that it makes sense. I have been kidnapped before, but nothing as elaborate as this.

[Deja Vu? Hasn't Rhy already done an announcement and arrival video? And yet... There he is, looking far more confident and a touch less... confidently sauve. A very different sort of royal.]

When I call to the water beyond the glass here it feels so... expansive. Oppressive. Like touching the ocean, but no man can move the ocean, no matter their spell. So I find myself intrigued. Clearly this is more than merely magical working to make this place. So science, then. That thing that Gray Worlders discuss. I cannot see why they would be so eager to copy the magic of my world when such wonders can be created as this place.

Ah, but I find myself distracted, do I not?

My question is this. I have seen some people in the streets so far, and they greet me with familiarity. Which would imply they are aware of my appearance. I have even been called out to by name. This is most definitely not Arnes, so that does not seem logical.

So I fear I must ask: Have I lost memories?

[Oh dear, this Rhy from another universe is just... well, perhaps he is a touch smarter than his younger self?]

[She pauses and then asks.]

Do you mind if we meet?

By all means, my lady I cannot control where you go and where you do not. I can provide incentive to visit, though.

You are an incentive all your own.

I don't know if you are aware of all the areas here but can we meet at the park? [She thinks that'll be the easiest place to find.]

[He chuckles and nods. What a woman. He can see why his younger self may have flirted with her.]

I will seek it out of course. Post-haste. I wish to speak with you, as you clearly know much of what is going on here.

I will tell you what I can.

[She knows a fair amount but she probably doesn't have all of the answers to Rhy's questions.]

I am heading there now. I'll see you soon.

[Wanda hangs up, gathers her things and heads to the park.]

[Fun. Rhy chuckles and nods, and when the video ends he grabs a cloak from the other Rhy's dresser and heads out. It takes a LOT of fumbling for him to find the park, so it takes an hour, but he gets there, and casts his eyes about to try and find someone who seems to be waiting.]

[Wanda is standing and looking around for Rhy. She's there before him and as the time turns to an hour she begins to get worried. So worried that she lightly stretches her awareness to catch his position a few minutes before he spots her.]

Rhy.

[She calls out to him and lifts up a hand to call him over.]

[Oh, how interesting. He moves to join Wanda when he sees her wave, and offers a brief bow.]

M'lady. Forgive my tardiness.

[She smiles and shakes her head.]

No need to apologize. I should have offered more directions.

[It's not like he knows this place... anymore.]

No, I should have asked for more information. That is just the sort of person I am. I like to believe I am capable of finding things I do not have prior knowledge of.

That's alright. It's a charm quality, as is admitting needing help.

[A beat.]

Even if it's after the fact.

There is a nice place to sit and eat close by. Let's head there. [She nods her head towards a small stand with tables and chairs positioned outside. There are drinks and snacks available. It's a good place to sit and talk.] What questions would you like to start with?

[Food is good. Very good. And he settles down and smiles, producing the metal amulet for her from his pocket.]

Well, let me begin with the promised gift. Then perhaps I can ask you about your experiences here. How likely this place is to send me back to my people.

[minus1twin]

[Delicate long fingers lightly take the offered gift as a warm smile touched her lips.]

Thank you. It really is lovely. [Her inspection is cut short as she pulls some money from her pocket and let's Rhy order before ordering herself. She is sure that he has money but she doesn't want him to worry about it right now. He has enough to worry about it.]

It is random, from what I can tell. Some people are here for a short time and others for a while. It's been at least half a year for me, if not longer. I do believe that time in your world pauses until you return.

Pauses? How would that even be possible? I know many spells, but nothing that compares with that.

[Nothing by a long shot. He's definitely seen preservation spells, but those work differently than just stopping time.]

I suppose to say that the sphere, whatever it is that brings us here, takes us home at the exact time we left.

[She hopes that makes more sense.]

Ah, now that makes a lot more sense.

[He chuckles. That he can strangely believe. Perhaps they are the ones that exist outside of time.]

I hope so. It's a little confusing but your time here is yours and it shouldn't negatively affect you when you return home.

[unbreakable_king]

Ah, so then I should indulge a bit.

[In a way he hasn't been for a while.]

[minus1twin]

Yes.

[She chuckles softly.]

I think you should do what makes you happy. Whatever that is.

[unbreakable_king]

[The king chuckles and shakes his head. There is much that he can do, but happiness doesn't matter.]

I'm a king. My happiness is secondary. But here I might enjoy it.

[minus1twin]

Well, [Her head tilts to the side.] You don't have to be a king here.

You can be happy. I think it's good if we all have time to think of ourselves.

[unbreakable_king]

[Happy. Rhy's face falls, for just a moment. But then the smile is back.]

Ah, but what does one DO with time when they aren't improving public works?

I think you should take time and figure out what you like.

[Wanda smiles encouragingly.]

There are activities here, shops, bars, clubs, sports. I think you'll find something and don't worry. It's okay if it takes some time. I was in a similar situation when I first arrived. [She's adjusted fairly well and has enjoyed having time to consider her own happiness over the fate of her planet.]

Sports? What sorts of sports can one even play when they do not possess magic? And what, pray-tell, do you mean when you say ‘club’?

[The concept was a strange one for him, and he wanted to learn as much as he could.]

[She can't help herself, she laughs before she manages to stifle the warm echo.]

You're going to have to teach me magic sports sometime but there is football or soccer as the states call it. That only involves your feet. There is also basketball and a few others though I don't know the rules well.

I was learning about American football before I left the states. It is a little like Rugby.
