"I know." He'd sensed the disturbance in the room.

Tommy does NOT like people knowing when he's approaching. It's not fair.

"Is my knowing you're here any different from you knowing I am?" He knows it is. Tommy clearly prides himself on his speed and the fact that he can outmatch anyone's senses. The fact that Ben did so even once had to have been infuriating. He took a bit of selfish pride in that.
