Alex Reagan has gone missing. The scene of her abduction is much the same as what John reported in regards to Laurie's, except she didn't seem to suspect her attacker.

[There is an unstated comment that when he finds whoever did this he will squeeze every drop of information out of them by any means necessary and then kill them if any harm came to Alex.]

[Carol hadn't gotten involved with the first mention of a missing person, largely because she didn't know who the girl had been worried about. Alex, though, she'd heard about. Aaron had told her about Alex.]

What would someone want with a reporter? I understand that Laurie was on the council, so her attack makes sense, but why would they go after Alex?

Some. There were clues left at the scenes, but they seem more as if they're misleading than helpful. Dorian is looking into the possibility that there's a magical component. Do you think you could help Dorian with that?

When I arrived, she'd been taken.

[He knows about Alec, Alex had told him, so he'll show him the scene that he found.]

So far five people have been found missing with their points of disappearance in similar disarray. All of their communicators were found on the scene, and they haven't returned to their pods, so they aren't dead.

I was speaking with her right after her last communication. She said she'd have to call me back. It sounded as if someone came in; I thought it was you, she certainly seemed to know whoever it was.
