[The man who appears on the video feed is rather dashing, calculatedly so, with high chiseled cheekbones, a meticulously groomed mustache, oiled and stylish hair, and a pleasant if playful smile on his full lips and glittering in his olive eyes.]

Isn't this a rather direct introduction? "Welcome to your new home beneath an ocean, Dorian! Enjoy traipsing through the memories of your new neighbors!" I suppose it does break the ice, doesn't it? There's nothing like a shared trauma to bring people together.

[He chuckles, a sultry and deep sound before shaking his head.]

If I might distract you from your chosen entertainment, how much of the introduction is to be believed? I'd like to avoid any novice bumbling, thank you. Also, by way of proper introduction, I am Dorian Pavus of Qarinus, by way most recently of the Riverview Quarantine. [He inclines his head.] Charmed, I'm sure.

At the behest of Richard Strand, and because I'd already thought of it myself, I went in search of our glorious leader, Max Tinder, who has been painfully silent.

[There's something like a mental sigh, though.]

I'll not tarry. He is silent because he has...also been taken. As we are afforded such a luxury, I'll show you what I've found. A warning for the squeamish ones: there is an awful lot of blood.

For interested parties, I've taken samples from the strange moss both at the door and having taken root behind his desk. I can only assume they were left by the culprit. That or Ser Tinder needs to hire better help. Moss is unacceptable.

I wonder, though. Has moss been found at any other sites? I feel that may be important.
