So, anyone know how to get this thing out of your head? I really don't want to end up as monster bait and considering I haven't used as much as a cell phone in years, having something like this implanted directly into my brain is super sketchy and kind of dangerous. Technology and me don't really get along.

Actually, you know what? I got a scalpel. Nevermind. Anyone got a mirror? I'll figure it out.

Now there's an idea I can get behind. Let me know if you need any help, since I feel like this will involve a lot of blood.

[Well, grandson of Odin, but close enough on the whole 'bloodthirsty god' concept.]

Nah, I think I'll stick with the one of plotting all my enemies' deaths.

I've been doing quite well. There's a few that have escaped my grasp, but they can't run forever.

[He sounds quite cheerful about going after them all and giving them the most painful deaths he can imagine.]

I have had some before. Unfortunately, my pets aren't here with me.

[Dangerous, deadly pets. Pokemon were a lot less cute and cuddly when they turned their attacks on human beings that weren't from an anime setting.]
ragnarsson: ([17.21] Mmmhmm)

[personal profile] ragnarsson 2019-10-10 09:13 pm (UTC)(link)
I've only very little idea of what that is, but I can assure you I probably wouldn't like it.

See, now you're getting it. You seem to understand me quite well on such short acquaintance.
ragnarsson: ([20.6] Looking up)

Sounds about right. Ares, is that a Greek god?

[Looks like Ivar at least knows a little bit about the other major pantheons.]
ragnarsson: ([17.35] Let's have a look)

[personal profile] ragnarsson 2019-10-14 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
Not personally, no. But I've known a few Greek demigods. There was a few of them in the last place I was in before coming here. One taught me a bit of Greek.
ragnarsson: ([19.6] Use the terrain against them)

Let's see.

[It takes him a moment to recall all those he'd met during his time in the city on the moon.]

There was Nice de Angelo, a son of Hades. He was my roommate Piper McLean, daughter of Aphrodite. We worked together. And Alex Fierro, child of Loki. She was... [Well, he doesn't feel like going into how much they had flirted, so he just drops the sentence.] Seemed like the place drew them in or something.

Is he now?

[Ivar had been unaware of that. It was too much to hope it might be the same version he'd known. This place had an annoying habit of bringing in multiple versions of the same person he'd known.]

Of course there are. My father was one of them. Ragnar, son of Odin.

[Which made Ivar Odin's grandson. What do you call the grandson of a god? A demi-demigod?]
ragnarsson: ([19.4] I've got an idea)

[personal profile] ragnarsson 2019-10-16 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
Legacy, hmmm? [He rolls the word around in his mind for a moment.] That's a good word to describe it, yes.
ragnarsson: ([5x1.1] Contemplating)

Nothing like what Greek demigods get. My mother had the gift of prophecy, but she didn't pass it down to any of her sons.

[That's what happened when both of his parents were related to Odin, Aslaug being his great-great-great-great granddaughter. Really, it's a wonder Ivar didn't have six toes.]
