[ Steve sounds like he's out of breath, like a man who's been running. For anyone who knows him from back home, you'll know how hard Steve needs to run in order to sound like this. ]

[ If he sounds firm, it's because he needs to be. He has to believe that it's not just him left. He has to believe that he didn't wake up in a new world, just to live through this again.

It's only after connecting to the network now, however, that Steve realizes he might be able to access its archives. ]

Thank you, to everyone who responded. For those who aren't aware of what's going on, there's an explanation in the archive. If you currently feel isolated. Alone. If the people around you have vanished. Find the nearest exit and keep moving until you see can people again. You will find them, and this feeling will pass.

[ Since Steve already knows that Tony's alive, the only thing that could supersede this nightmare is Wanda. Her aliveness. Her existance. ]

I ... [ His eyes flicker back over his surroundings. Alex, by now, had already kept him company to the wall. Now all he needs to do is find the exit. ] I'll be alright. Soon. [ A beat. ] Where are you? [ Because the only thing he might want more than getting out of this dome, is to see her. ]

Anyway, you could have just had two limbs cut off and you'd say 'I'll be fine'.

[ It might be a slight exaggeration. But. Whatever. ]

[ If she's in whatever housing building he'd been assigned to, this means they're in the same dome. And from what Steve's been told so far, that means Wanda shouldn't be able to see anyone either. But he needs confirmation. This is a big place. A big place with lots of housing. ]

[ He decides, in the end, that she must be somewhere else. ]

If you suddenly can't hear people around anymore, then you need to get out. Go to the next dome.

[ Some silence for a moment, like Steve has disconnected and then reconnected again within 15 seconds. ]

Wanda, I need a minute. But I'll call you soon. I'd- I'd love to see you.

[ If she isn't from the same point in time as him — after the snap — then what Steve says will sound overly sentimental, which, is a little out of the ordinary for him. But with just that last message, he signs off.

His return call back to her, once he's in a safe place, comes sometime in the next 20 minutes. ]

( ooc: Steve is physically going to be in the same place as Tony soon. Any objections to Steve calling her with Tony there too? He'd want Tony to know she's alive, especially since he kinda told Tony that Wanda died. )

I'm not sure [ he says, to Tony, before Wanda can hear: ] where she is.

[ Tony should already be able to hear them. He'd tried connecting with him first, since all of this happens in their heads, which, he's gonna need Tony to help him understand better later. ]

[ If Tony sounds on edge, it’s because he hates this whole experience. He’s glad that he had been able to connect with Steve, and he’s relieved that he had been able to connect with Wanda. Considering the situation, and everything going on, they need to stick together. He doesn’t know how Wanda will feel about him being here, considering everything that happened with the Accords and never getting a chance to smooth things over, but...there’ll be time for that later.

He hopes, anyway. ]
